Rova Web Lead Notification SMS Program

Program Description

Rova Web (Rova Web LLC) sends SMS notifications to our agency clients (business owners) when a new lead is submitted through their website's contact or inquiry form. These messages are transactional, account-related notifications — not marketing or promotional messages. A typical message includes the lead's name, contact information, and inquiry details so the business owner can follow up promptly.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on the volume of leads submitted through your website. You may receive anywhere from zero to several messages per day depending on your website traffic and form submissions.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's standard messaging rates apply to any messages you send or receive. Rova Web does not charge any additional fees for SMS notifications, but your mobile carrier may charge you for each message received depending on your plan.

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving SMS lead notifications at any time by:

  • Text STOP to the number from which you receive messages to unsubscribe. You will receive a final confirmation message.
  • Emailing us at contact@rovaweb.com
  • Calling us at (540) 519-1832

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS notifications from this program unless you re-enroll.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is supported on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Liability

Rova Web is not responsible for any delays or failures in message delivery. We are not liable for any charges incurred by your mobile carrier for messages sent to or from our number. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy Policy — SMS Communications

This section supplements our general Privacy Policy with specific information about how we collect, use, and protect data related to our SMS lead-notification program.

Information We Collect

When you enroll in our SMS lead-notification program, we collect:

  • Your name and business name
  • Your mobile phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your opt-in and opt-out status
  • Consent timestamp, IP address, and user agent at the time of enrollment
  • The verbatim consent language shown to you at the time of opt-in

How We Use Your Information

We use your phone number and related data exclusively to:

  • Send you SMS notifications when a new lead is submitted through your website
  • Process your opt-out requests
  • Maintain consent records for compliance purposes

Mobile Information Sharing and Disclosure

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your information may be disclosed only to:

  • Twilio — Our SMS platform provider, which processes message delivery on our behalf. Twilio's privacy policy is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Data Retention

We retain your phone number and opt-in status for as long as you remain an active client and are enrolled in the SMS notification program. If you opt out, we retain a record of your opt-out request indefinitely to ensure we do not re-enroll you without your explicit consent. Consent records (timestamp, IP address, consent text) are retained for a minimum of 5 years for compliance and audit purposes.

Data Security

All SMS communications are transmitted through Twilio's secure infrastructure. Your phone number and consent records are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized members of our team. We do not store your phone number in any publicly accessible system.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP
  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your phone number and associated data (subject to compliance retention requirements)

Opt-In & Consent

How Clients Opt In

Consent to receive SMS lead notifications is collected during client onboarding via a dedicated web form at https://rovaweb.com/get-started/. This is the sole opt-in mechanism for our SMS program.

During enrollment, the client (business owner):

  • Provides their name, business name, email address, and mobile phone number
  • Checks an unchecked-by-default consent checkbox with the following label:

"By checking this box and providing my phone number, I authorize Rova Web to send SMS notifications to this number when new leads are submitted through my website. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency depends on lead volume on my website. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. I have read and agree to the SMS Terms and Privacy Policy."

Consent Record

Each opt-in submission is logged with the following information for compliance and audit purposes:

  • Timestamp (ISO 8601 format)
  • Name, email, and phone number submitted
  • IP address and user agent of the submitting device
  • The verbatim consent checkbox label text displayed at the time of submission

What Clients Are Consenting To

By opting in, clients agree to receive SMS notifications from Rova Web that include:

  • New lead alerts when a visitor submits a form on their website
  • Service-related account notifications

We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages via SMS. All messages are transactional and directly related to the client's account with Rova Web.

Consent Is Not Required for Service

Consent to receive SMS lead notifications is not a condition of purchasing web design, hosting, SEO, or any other services from Rova Web. Clients may choose to receive lead notifications by email only.

Clients can revoke consent at any time by:
